A record-setting sheep and lamb sale drew nearly 4,000 head to the last big sale before Easter in New Holland (PA). Lambs weighing 40 to 60 lbs. were in the greatest demand.
In addition, the sale attracted 2,582 goats. The Easter sale drew many hungry buyers and prices were best at the start of the sale, but began to weaken as the sale progressed.
