2011 Maryland Wool Pool

The 54th Annual Maryland Wool Pool will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2011, at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium, Maryland.

The pool will open at 8:30 a.m. There will be three lines to accept wool: two lines for loose wool and one line for baled wool. Consigners are expected to unload their own wool.

Any producer bringing wool in a nylon square pack weighing at least 250 lbs. will receive a 5 cent premium for their wool. Maryland Sheep Breeders Association dues of $25 will be withheld on wool sales over $40.
