The MPWV1 Meat Goat Association will be holding a field day on Saturday, November 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at LambCo LLC, a USDA-inspected processing plant.
Participants will have the opportunity to view live animals and compare their carcasses. Bob Herr, a Boer goat breeder and order buyer at New Holland Sales Stables, will be the guest speaker.
Space is limited to the first 40 people who register. The registration fee is $15 per family (for members of the association) and $25 for non-members. Registration includes reference materials and lunch.
