Breeding Sheep for a More Profitable Flock is the name of a workshop to be held at Riverwood Farm in Powell, Ohio, on July 10-11. The ASI Regional Genetics Workshop is being held in conjunction with the 2010 Ohio Sheep Day.
Keynote speakers will include Dr. David Notter, Virginia Tech; Dr. Kreg Leymaster, U.S. Meat Animal Research Center, Clay Center, Nebraska; Dr. David Thomas, University of Wisconsin; and Dr. Charles Parker, Professor Emeritus, The Ohio State University.
There is no fee to attend the workshop, but reception and dinner reservations ($20) must be made by July 1. Lunch may be purchased at the time of registration.
