Sheep & Wool Skillathon

The registration deadline for the Sheep & Wool Skillathon (at the Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival) is Monday, April 26.  Teams (3 or 4 youth from the same club, county, or state) must be pre-registered.  Individual registrations are requested.

The Sheep & Wool Skillathon will be held Sunday, May 2, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.  Youth compete according to their age on January 1, 2010:  Juniors, 8-10; Intermediates, 11-13; and Seniors, 14-18.  The top ten individuals and top three teams from each age group will be recognized.

A goat skillathon will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2010, at the Washington County Agricultural Education Center near Boonsboro and in conjunction with the annual Western Maryland Goat Field Day & Sale.
