Summer 2008 issue of Wild & Woolly

The Summer 2008 issue of Wild & Woolly has been published to the web at www.sheepandgoat.com/news/index.html. Wild & Woolly is the Maryland Sheep & Goat Producer Newsletter published quarterly by University of Maryland Extension.

The newsletter is available for free on the Internet. It may be viewed online or downloaded and printed in its original graphics format as a PDF file. Send an e-mail to sschoen@umd.edu to be added to the newsletter e-mail subscriber list to receive an e-mail message when a new issue of the newsletter has been published to the web.

Mailed copies of the newsletter are available for a cost recovery fee of $10 per year, made payable to the University of Maryland.

This issue features articles on scrapie, copper toxicity, wool, Goats in the Classroom, the Maryland Sheep & Wool Skillathon, and the Western Maryland Pasture-Based Meat Goat Performance Test.
