"Forages, Parasites, and Profitability"

"Forages, Parasites, and Profitability" is the title of this year's West Virginia Shepherd's Federation Short Course. The short course will be held Saturday, November 2, 2013, at the WVU Organic Farm in Morgantown.

This year's short course will focus on FAMACHA© training; forage evaluation, quality, and a pasture walk; and funding opportunities for producers through NRCS. The annual meeting of the West Virginia Shepherd's Federation will follow.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. Pre-registration is not required, but FAMACHA© materials are limited to the first 20 people who register. The cost of FAMACHA© training materials is $15. The fee will be collected at the time of registration.
