Free nutrition seminars at Festival

Dr. Woody Lane will be giving three free seminars Saturday, May 7, 2011, at the Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival.
  1. New forages to fill feed holes (10 to 11:30 a.m.)
  2. Feed tags and forage test results: how to read them and what they mean (12:30 to 1:30 p.m.)
  3. Untangling minerals and vitamins, particularly for times of stress (2:30 to 4 p.m.)
Dr. Woody Lane is a nationally-known nutritionist from Roseburg, Oregon. He operates an independent consulting firm, "Lane Livestock Services," and teaches courses in forages and livestock nutrition. He is a popular speaker across the United States and Canada.

The Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival is always held the first full weekend in May at the Howard County Fairgrounds in West Friendship, Maryland. Attendance and parking are free.
