The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) will host a Lambing and Kidding Roundtable Discussion on Saturday, February 26, 9 a.m. to 12 noon, at the Richard A. Henson Center in Princess Anne, MD.
The discussion will be led by Dr. Nelson Escobar, Assistant Professor and Extension Specialist in Small Ruminants. Topics of discussion will include the parturition process, potential pitfalls, management of periparturient ewes/does, lamb/kid nutrition, and newborn survival.
