Owens Farm in Sunbury, Pennsylvania, will host a one-day Lambing Clinic on Saturday, March 12. The clinic will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will be divided between indoor discussion and hands-on practice in the lambing barn.
The lambing clinic is limited to 25 participants. Pre-registration is required. The fee is $45 per person (over 12 years of age); $40 for the second person from the same farm. Owens Farm will also host a Sheep Camp for Adults on Saturday, May 14. Topics will include safe handling techniques, purchasing of stock, health concerns, facilities set-up, basic veterinary skills and more.
