Pregnant Ewe/Doe Round Table

A Round Table Discussion on Feeding and Caring for the Pregnant Ewe/Doe will be held on Saturday, November 20, 9 a.m. to noon, at the Richard A. Henson Center on the campus of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES).

The discussion will be led by Dr. Nelson Escobar, Assistant Professor and Small Ruminant Extension Specialist at UMES.

Topics will  include: 1) Nutrition of the pregnant ewe/doe; 2) Lambing/kidding strategies to increase survival of newborns and dams; and 3) Lamb/kid nutrition and care.
