Thirty does consigned

Thirty (30) does have been consigned to the 2010 Western Maryland Goat Field Day & Sale. Six consignors from five states have consigned Kiko, Boer, and various crossbred does to the 3rd annual sale, which will be held Saturday, October 2 at the Washington County Agricultural Education Center near Boonsboro, Maryland.

A sale catalog may be downloaded from the web. The catalog includes pictures of some of the does.

As with the bucks in the sale, the does will be sold via silent auction. The bidding period will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Whoever has the highest bid at the end of the bidding period gets the goat.

The floor price for does is $150. Consignors may set higher floor prices for some does.
