Graduate student scholarship

The American Sheep Industry Association (ASI) announces the Sheep Heritage Foundation Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $1,500. This scholarship aims to advance the lamb and wool industries through financial support of a graduate-level student.

Basic eligibility criteria for the scholarship includes a graduate student involved in sheep and/or wool research in such areas as animal science, agricultural economics or veterinary medicine; proof of acceptance to graduate school; completed application; and two letters of reference.

The last date for submission of application forms is June 1, 2010. The recipient of the scholarship will be selected by July 2010.
