Last November, the Maryland 4-H Livestock Judging Team placed 3rd at the National 4-H Livestock Judging Contest in Louisville, Kentucky. Team members included Claire and Troy Bennett, Drew Cashman, and Lukas Ziegler, all from Carroll County.
Because of their outstanding performance, the team received an opportunity to participate in the Royal Highland Show in Edinburgh, Scotland. After months of fund raising, the youth raised enough money. They left today (6/24) for the contest and a two week tour of European agriculture.
