New web site for MD State Fair

The Maryland State Fair has unveiled a new web site at http://www.marylandstatefair.com/. If you type in the old url (http://www.bcpl.net/~mdstfair/ ), you shouldl be re-directed to the new site.

This year's fair will be held August 22 through September 1st. The traditional schedule has been reinstated with 4-H livestock activities being centered around the first weekend and open class shows being held Labor Day weekend. Last year's schedule was reversed in hopes of alleviating school conflicts.

Entries will be online again this year. The online registration system for the Maryland State Fair can be found at http://www.entrigate.com/msf4h/. Online entries close Friday, August 1 at 11:59 p.m.

For families without access to the Internet, forms can be photocopied.
