The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation in Williamsburg, Virginia, is seeking to hire two people (one full-time and one part-time) to work with its livestock program. Persons with good public speaking ability and an agricultural background are encouraged to apply.
Colonial Williamsburg maintains a 18th century farm with rare breeds of livestock and poultry. They keep a flock of rare Leicester Longwool sheep and exhibit them each year in the breeds display barn at the Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival. Colonial Williamsburg has been instrumental in preserve this heritage breed of sheep.
