Recently, I attended the 8th annual World Sheep & Wool Congress in Querétaro, Mexico. The congress is held every three years. It draws participants and speakers from all over the world.The first several days of the 2007 congress featured a scientfic program and other special activities. Farm tours took place mid-week, with four farms to choose from. The last several days of the congress featured a multi-breed sheep show and trade show.
The next congress will be held in Sidney, Australia in 2010.
