Cogenics™, formerly Genaissance provides SNP genotyping for Scrapie susceptibility testing in sheep. We are an APHIS approved laboratory that tests all three codons: 171, 136 and 154 and regularly process hundreds of sheep samples for the USDA per week. Our testing facility in New Haven, CT offers a 10 day turn around time and a price of $10 per animal for all three codons. We accept FTA® cards, blood, and eartag samples.
