Gower's Feed and Purina Mills will be sponsoring two Showring Success Seminars on Friday and Saturday, March 8-9, 2013.
The Friday seminar will be held from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Gower's Feed in Ranson, West Virginia. The Saturday seminar will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at William Gower & Son in Williamsport, Maryland.
Swine judge and breeder Colby Ferguson will talk about what he looks for when he judges a hog. He will speak on proper selection of a show hog and the importance of good nutrition.
Susan Schoenian will talk about how to select a show goat and what to do to be successful in the show ring. Susan is the Sheep & Goat Specialist at the University of Maryland's Western Maryland Research & Education Center.
Daniela Garrett, a Purina Mills nutritionaist will talk about how Purina's Honor Show Chows can help you get in the winner's circle.
