There will be one-day lambing clinic at Owens Farm in Sunbury, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, March 17, 2012. The morning session will cover Decision-Making at Lambing, Top Ten Tips for Saving Lambs, and a demonstration of a necropsy to determine "Why Did This Lamb Die?"
Management practices such as ear-tagging, tube feeding, tail docking, nursing difficulties, and other common problems will be demonstrated during the afternoon barn session. Instructors will be veterinarian Dr. Jackie Rapp and a panel of experienced shepherds.
